Bad moments don't make bad mamas. “There is no you or me or them. Everything is connected and the salvation of each of us is linked to the salvation of all of us.” ~ Riverside, Illinois, July 1975, AA Grapevine
when confronting difficulties.
If, however, we can remain focused on keeping hope strong and not succumbing to negative
influences, we will meet with success in dealing with anything life may throw in our
path. -Hiram Rogers Lloyd Live simply that others may simply
live. -Elizabeth Seton |

BIG
BOOK QUOTE Even
so has God restored us all to our right minds. To this man, the revelation
was sudden. Some of us grow into it more slowly. But He has come to all who
have honestly sought Him. P57 |

DAILY REFLECTIONS GOAL:
SANITY ".
. . Step Two gently and very gradually began to infiltrate my
life. I can't say upon what occasion or upon what day I came
to believe in a Power greater than myself, but I certainly
have that belief now." TWELVE
STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 27 "Came
to believe!" I gave lip service to my belief when I felt
like it or when I thought it would look good. I didn't really
trust God. I didn't believe He cared for me. I kept trying
to change things I couldn't change. Gradually, in disgust,
I began to turn it all over, saying: "You're so omnipotent,
you take care of it." He did. I began to receive answers
to my deepest problems, sometimes at the most unusual
times: driving to work, eating lunch, or when I was sound
asleep. I realized that I hadn't thought of those solutions—a
Power greater than myself had given them to me. I
came to believe. |

POT LUCK Dream My
dreams give me purpose and strength. When
I feel discouraged about the state of the world, I
remember the words of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who
famously said, "Even
though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I
still have a dream." These
words remind me that even when a goal feels out of reach, even when I grow
weary, even when progress feels too slow, I can maintain the vision I am
working toward. This action helps me persevere and strengthens my resolve and
determination. I
am buoyed by the awareness that others have the dream of an equitable and
harmonious world. Together, we dream it and together we will achieve it. |
